Board Games for Education
Boards of Kettering is a Community Interest Company formed to celebrate the joy of playing modern board games
Our team recognised the value of using board games in an educational setting so the next stage of our journey is to share our love of board games (while teaching useful skills and promoting wellbeing) to young people and adults in schools, youth clubs, the home-education community and other settings.
We are currently designing our offer, before going out to schools to run trials and gather feedback.
Polly and Gavin are using their experience in using board games in educational settings and will have a programme developed very soon.
The Skills Builder Universal Framework
We’re developing our programme based on the nationally recognised Skills Builder Partnership Universal Framework.
Polly used the Framework extensively in a previous role and knows the impact and outcomes that Skills Builder creates.
